The upcoming season of the MTV hit series "Teen Wolf" will see the changing relationship between Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and Lydia (Holland Roden). Shippers of the couple cannot wait to see their interactions when they eventually admit they have feelings for each other.

The chemistry between the werewolf and the banshee has been palpable throughout season 5, especially when Stiles and his wolf brothers succeeded in saving her from the Dread Doctors. Lydia was imprisoned in the Eichen House where the dreadful villains were conducting experiments on her. Her storyline has always been on the dark side though. Fans are hoping that she will get some lighter scenes in the future, preferably with Stiles.

The last scene of the finale showed Lydia trying to bring normalcy to her life after the tragic events in the past. She was seen walking towards the school arm in arm with Malia (Shelley Hennig). Stiles' ex-girlfriend is proving to be a good friend for the banshee, but how will she react once she learns that Lydia is close to stealing Stiles from her?

Showrunner Jeff Davis has been very vocal about his plans for "Stydia" in season 6. In his interview with Entertainment Weekly, he commented on the developing friendship between Malia and Lydia and how this would put Stiles in an awkward position. He also said in a separate interview that the werewolf's true feelings would be revealed soon after a big event in one of the upcoming episodes.

"They're not only lingering feelings — they become a focus, a focal point of the next season. Something big happens in the very first episode of Season 6 between Stiles and Lydia, which you'll have to tune in to see," he told TV Line.

MTV has yet to announce a premiere date for "Teen Wolf" season 6.
