"Teen Wolf" season 5 just aired its finale and it was a pandemonium. Mason (Khylin Rhambo) was finally free from his Beast form, thanks to Scott (Tyler Posey), Stiles (Dylan O'Brien), and the pack. The MTV series is now gearing up for its sixth installment, which according to reports, has started filming last Feb. 22.

Teen Wolf News reports that the cast and crew have begun preparing for the new season in late February. The setting is once again California, with Posey and O'Brien back to reprise their roles as the fearless werewolf Alpha and his best buddy. Aside from the two characters, the show will also be bringing back Liam (Dylan Sprayberry), Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby), and Malia (Shelley Hennig). The others' fate remains under wraps, just like Arden Cho's Kira. The last time she was seen, the kitsune was bidding Scott goodbye as she prepared to join the Skinwalkers.

Meanwhile, executive producer Jeff Davis assured fans that O'Brien's schedule would not cause problems with the filming of the upcoming season. The actor is slated to shoot his newest movie, "The Maze Runner: Death Cure" in Canada beginning March 14. Many have expressed concern about the tight schedule, considering that O'Brien would have to travel back and forth between the two countries for his shots. Davis said that they have already considered his busy schedule and would make necessary changes if the need arises.

"Obviously we have to work around his movie schedule but you'll see the story we've come up with. I think it's going to make everyone pretty happy," the executive producer said.

Meanwhile, Movie Pilot posits that Theo (Cody Christian) is alive and will soon team up with Stiles to defeat the new threat in Beacon Hills. The chimera was last seen being dragged underground by his dead sister in the finale. While it has not been confirmed yet if Christian will return for season 6, his character's fate remains a mystery, as viewers did not see his dead body. Theo and Stiles will reportedly be working closely together and this will cause problems with Scott.
