Two new confirmed additions to the 'Terminator 5: Genesis' cast are Douglas Smith and Emilia Clarke.

Emilia Clarke will play the role of Sarah Connor as the characters travel back in time in the fifth installment of the action-packed hit movie series.

Clarke rose to popularity with her portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen, one of the last survivors of House of Targaryen who was forced to marry Khal Drago in the television phenomenon "Game of Thrones."

First seen as the Cyclops-brother of Percy Jackson in the movie "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters" and as X-Men's Cyclops, Douglas Smith was also tapped to join the stellar cast of Terminator 5.

Douglas' role in the film is still undetermined, but since the story will travel in time, he is reportedly playing the part of either a young John Connor or a young Kyle Reese.

But, perhaps the most exciting is the news that Arnold Schwarzenegger playing the lead role of the heroic cyborg in Terminator 5.

The Austrian-born actor himself promised that he will be appearing in the fifth movie as T-800 amidst rumors that he was again excluded in the plans.

Thirty years after the first movie was released, the 66-year old Schwarzenegger's presence is still highly anticipated.

The Terminator franchise was created by James Cameron, the genius behind billion-dollar box office hits like "Titanic" and "Avatar."

Laeta Kalogridis of Shutter Island and Patrick Lussier of My Bloody Valentine 3D are currently working on the script of the motion picture.

The last Terminator film, which starred Christian Bale as John Connor, received mixed reviews and was criticized for the absence of Schwarzenegger who was replaced by computer graphics.

Terminator 5 will also feature Jason Clarke of Zero Dark Thirty as John Connor and Divergent's Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese.

Terminator 5 is expected to hit theaters on July 1, 2015.
