Fans of the show "The 100" have recently received a new update for the season three of the series. The update consists of costume photos from the show and various reports have suggested that these are the costumes that the Grounders will use for the coming season.

According to the report from Melty, the photos for the new Grounders costume were teased by Twitter user Inside 'The 100' last Oct. 22. On the posted images, fans can see there two sets of costumes made from metal, leather and fur. Moreover, Melty has stated on the report that the costumes do actually give out a commander sort of look into it and fans were expecting the costumes, especially the one on the right, to be used by a male character in the series.

However, co-creator of "The 100," Jason Rothenberg, had shed some light into the confusion and has revealed the exact opposite of what fans are actually expecting. The co-creator wrote on his Twitter post on the same date "Oh and just to clear something up: It wasn't a male Commander's uniform. That orange color is significant though."

Meanwhile, in terms of how the story will go for "The 100" season three, Realty Today reports that the premise of the third season will be emotional for some of the characters in the show, most especially after what happened in the previous second season. Furthermore, Bellamy Blake (played by Bob Morley) is said to emerge and will become the true leader in the third season after Clarke Griffin's departure from the camp.

"The 100" season three is being expected to premiere its first episode sometime early 2016. Unfortunately though, the production still hasn't announced or released the specific details for the air date. More news will probably emerge a few months before the official premiere date.
