'The 100' season 4 premiere spoilers: 'Bellarke' isn't happening anytime soon

(Facebook / The 100)What's left with "The 100" will continue their journey on season 4 which will premiere next year.

Following the death of Lexa in "The 100" season three, fans are now wondering if Clarke and Bellamy can be given a shot at love, especially since Clarke might need someone to help her get through the pain of the past.

Ever since the hit show premiered, some viewers have been begging for "Bellarke" to happen. However, the storyline never made it to television and Clarke (Eliza Taylor) found love with Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey).

As fans know, Lexa died earlier and Clarke will expectedly continue to show a broken heart in the upcoming episodes. However, Bellamy (Bob Morley), her dear friend, is still around and they always had a chemistry - though not the romantic type that fans fall in love with.

During the recent Oz Comic-Con, Taylor talked about what's next for Clarke now that she has just lost the dearest person in her life. According to Enstarz, she said, "I don't know [if she will love again]. I don't know if that's a possibility for her given what she's just been through. I hope it is, but, in honor of Lexa, I think it would be hard for fans to see."

This could be Taylor's indirect way of slamming speculations that "Bellarke" will ever happen in the small screens. If it does, everyone will have to wait for some time until Clarke moves on and is ready to give all of her heart again.

After all, fans saw how deep and sincere the "Clexa" storyline was and supporters wouldn't really want to see a desperate Clarke immediately finding love right after a heartbreak. It would also seem impossible for Bellamy right now to focus on romance since he is on a mission that would hopefully reunite him with his sister.

Meanwhile, Inquisitr reports that Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) will turn into a darker person as "The 100" rolls out the next episodes. Earlier, she killed Pike (Michael Beach) as she claimed the blood of her beloved, Lincoln (Ricky Whittle), whom Pike shot in the head previously.

"The 100" season four is expected to premiere sometime early 2017.
