In what could be one of the most shocking and heartbreaking deaths in "The 100," Lexa unfortunately passed away during the previous season, and though some fans believe Clarke will possibly build a new romance when season four arrives, Eliza Taylor reflected on how her character's life will be without Lexa.

It's truly unfortunate that Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey) had to be the one to depart in season three, but like any other hero, it might actually do good for Clarke (Taylor) as she continues to stand up for her life and her mates.

According to HOF Mag, viewers are still pondering on the shocking death of Lexa. If Clarke falls in love anytime soon, there is a good chance the "Clexa" world will go crazy and be unforgiving of the protagonist.

In a recent Q & A during the Oz Comic-Con, Taylor dished on the possibilities for Clarke, now that her romantic storyline has been cut short. Though she doesn't close doors for her character to find love someday, Taylor clarified that she thinks it's impossible for Clarke to find love at this time.

"I don't know if she will love again. I don't know if that is a possibility for her, given what she's just been through," the actress explained.

What viewers need to understand is the message that "The 100" is trying to impart. It seems that most of the cast won't be given a long time to be happy. It isn't just Clarke who has had to see her love go as Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) also had to deal with seeing Lincoln (Ricky Whittle) gunned down before her eyes.

Taylor herself is aware of how the show works as she said, "I want her [Clarke] to be happy, but it's The 100," somehow giving a nod to the showrunners and its writers who create the melancholic end for some beloved characters.

Meanwhile, some were overjoyed when Lexa died as it now opens doors for the highly-demanded pair called "Bellarke." As fans already know, Clarke and Bellamy (Bob Morley) are a very much acclaimed pair as their friendship has gone deeper over the years.

However, Inquistir notes that the chemistry they have is only limited to being the best of friends so at this time, it might be too early to conclude that "Bellarke" will be a storyline for the new episodes.

"The 100" season four is expected to premiere sometime early 2017.
