'The Bachelor' 2017 cast updates, latest news: 2 new girls added; first impression rose awardee revealed

Nick Viall seems to be enjoying himself while on the set of "The Bachelor" 2017, and there's a lot of things to discover as early as now, such as which new girls are coming in and who might have received the First Impression Rose.

While there are numerous stolen clips of the cast and crew while filming, Reality Steve is still the most up-to-date source for news. The man behind the curtains, Steve Carbone, has once again wowed the crowd when he unveiled new and exclusive bits of information about how things are going on in the ABC dating series.

It's a given that Nick will try everything in his power to make his season the most treasured and watched above the rest. How will he do this? Most likely, he will pull it off by giving viewers what they want or doing things unexpectedly.

According to Carbone, on the night of the first meeting with the new group of women for "The Bachelor" 2017, Nick gave the First Impression Rose to Rachel Lindsay, a 31-year-old Dallas, Texas native who is a well-educated lawyer. Despite some saying that Rachel's being black might have played a role in it, the fact remains that Nick gave the rose to such a nice and educated girl who's also very attractive.

Carbone also revealed that two new girls are joining Nick's roster. There's Christen Whitney, who is a dance instructor and also a videographer. She's from Oklahoma and looks stunning and gorgeous - a perfect addition to Nick's "perfect" season.

Finally, there's Brittany Farrar - but she's not the former flame of Jordan Rodgers from JoJo Fletcher's "The Bachelorette." This Brittany is 27 years old and from Missouri, though she now resides in L.A. She's got it all good as a nurse who travels around the area. She just might be the medicine to cure Nick's heart that's been broken thrice already.

"The Bachelor" 2017, season 21, is expected to premiere Jan. 2, 2017 on ABC.
