Despite separation rumors, The Bachelor and winning bachelorette, Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell are going strong as a couple, as suggested by the events that unfolded during Galavis' Miami birthday bash.

Juan Pablo Galavis joined as The Bachelor on the show's 2013 season, and after many roses given out, the former soccer player ended up choosing blonde bombshell, Nikki Ferrell.

Since their announcement as a couple, the pair has been the constant subject of separation rumors, but the two have remained intact and strong.

Galavis recently celebrated his 33^rd birthday in Miami, and it looks as if the single dad and Ferrell are on cloud nine with their love for each other.

According to reports, Galavis and Ferrell couldn't keep their hands off each other during the birthday party, which was held at the Flamingo Theater Bar.

"I'm very happy and blessed to spend the first of many birthdays with Nikki," Galavis said in an interview with People.

He added, "She's a wonderful woman -- smart, caring, who treats my daughter amazingly well. She's the one who has to deal with this Latin guy, with a culture that she sometimes doesn't understand. She's been able to handle it well."

Ferrell seems to be comfortable in getting to know Galavis even more.

"To think back to a year ago when he was announced as [the star of] 'The Bachelor,' and then to be here a year later with him, it all seems so surreal. I was really excited to be able to spend Juan's birthday with him here in Miami," Ferrell said happily during the interview.
