The previous season of "The Big Bang Theory" dropped a bomb on unsuspecting fans and then they left everyone hanging. Since then the rumor mill has churned up several theories to answer last season's cliffhanger. Many seem to believe that Leonard (John Galecki) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) are going to be brothers starting next season, while others seem to think that this new set up might put an end to their friendship.

To recap, in season 9, Leonard and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) renewed their vows. This time, they had friends and family with them. Apparently, Leonard's father (Judd Hirsch) and Sheldon's mother Mary (Laurie Metcalf) might have hooked up at the event. Although fans have to wait for season 10 to confirm this unlikely get together, Entertainment Weekly did manage to get something out of executive producer Steve Molaro.

When asked about Alfred and Mary, Molaro simply told EW that he didn't know what happened. If details are even going to be revealed, Molaro said that viewers need to wait for season 10 to know. But he acknowledged the potential for Sheldon and Leonard to be brothers. "Uncomfortable probably is a good starting place for their primary emotion of where we leave them and where we will pick up," Molaro tells the news network.

Recent fan theories suggest that Bernadette will be losing her baby. But if that will ever happen in the show, that certainly won't be the case in season 10. Molaro confirmed that the pregnancy will continue.

Aside from baby planning and an actual baby, fans can expect more characters to pop up next season, particularly Penny's family. The executive producer confirmed that the show will introduce more members of Penny's family in season 10.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 will return to CBS in the fall.
