'The Flash' episode 16 spoilers: teaser trailer reveals Cisco's death was prevented by Barry

Finally, Dr. Wells confessed he is, in fact, the Reverse Flash, before (shockingly) killing Cisco. Disheartened and teary-eyed fans started missing the tech genius minutes after the show ended. He's dead. Or is he?
A teaser trailer reveals that Cisco is alive and his death was prevented by Barry when he time-travels in the upcoming episode. "Rouge Time" will see Barry going back and undoing Wells' dirty work. This was confirmed by Andrew Kreisberg in an interview with TVLine. He said that episode 16 will deal with "how much of (what took place in Episode 15) still happens and how much of it might possibly change." Kreisberg also emphasized that, in Wells' mind, what he's doing isn't evil at all. In fact, the Reverse Flash believes he is a hero and he was telling the truth to Cisco before he killed him. In episode 16, fans will see how Cisco's death was meant to happen.
But wait, what about Barry and Iris? The two finally confessed their feelings for each other after which a smitten Barry revealed that he is The Flash. The kiss and confession were all undone thanks to the Weather Wizard since Barry had to travel back in time to stop him. Does this spell trouble for the romantic pair? Apparently not, as the same TVLine interview specifies actress Candice Patton saying that, while the timeline changed that bit, "at the root of how she feels is she loves Barry". Candice essays the role of Barry's love interest Iris. Meanwhile, the rest of the season also focuses on Iris' investigation into Dr. Wells.
In the episode, Central City is visited by Captain Cold and Heat Wave and that Snart has brought along his sister Lisa to wreak havoc, reports TVGuide.
"The Flash" episode 16 airs on Tuesday, March 24 at 8 p.m. ET on CW.
