In the upcoming episode 18, titled "Rehearsal," of the third season of "The Fosters," Zoe will reveal Mariana's secret to Nick and Mariana fears for their relationship to end.

The official synopsis from Disney ABC Press reads: "During a rehearsal for Brandon and Mat's "Romeo and Juliet" musical, Zoe tells Nick that Mariana cheated on Mat when they dated, causing Mariana to fear that Nick will end their relationship. Callie serves as a character witness for her friend Daphne, who is desperately trying to get her daughter back. Meanwhile, Jesus and Mariana want to help their birth father."

The promo trailer for the next episode shows that secrets are bound to be revealed. Zoe spills Mariana's past with Nick. Brandon, on the other hand, tells Mariana that he had sex with someone and he regretted that mistake, without realizing that Callie heard him from the other room. Mariana might get caught in between a conflict after helping her father.

Meanwhile, here is the recap of the previous episode, titled "Sixteen."

After asking for Mariana and Jesus' blessing, Jude finally decided to visit his long-distance beau Connor. Before going, Jesus gave Jude an advice to watch adult film first before the latter tries to go intimate with his boyfriend. After heeding his brother's advice, Jude only felt disturbed and conscious so he asked his parents to get a refund of their train ticket.

So, the twins Jesus and Mariana threw a birthday party but, unfortunately, it had an awkward ending. It was revealed that Sally was lying and Lena confronted her for it. The latter told the former that she should not lie about what happened with Monte.

Meanwhile, Brando and Callie left the party earlier to hang out with their respective beaus. However, it seemed like they have not moved on after their break up. When their girlfriend and boyfriend came, the tension between Brandon and Callie seemed obvious. The four revealed their past and present relationships. AJ, however, was upset seeing Callie with Brandon.

The episode ended with the family wishing the twins a happy birthday.
