"The Fosters" is on a two-week season three break just when things started to get interesting with Callie's (Maia Mitchell) adoption case being put on the line over a stolen car and Brandon's (David Lambert) previous restraining order. But two weeks is just two weeks and the ABC family-teen drama promises a strong return in episode eight.

All eyes will surely be on Callie, especially now that her fate with The Fosters, Stef (Teri Polo) and Lena (Sherri Saum), seems hazy. And alongside her story, fans will also look at what else is there to unfold with Rita Hendricks' (Rosie O'Donnell) background.

Whatever the next episode has in store for Rita will surely greatly impact Callie's life. The synopsis of episode eight, titled "Daughters," reveals more of Callie and Rita's moments, as well as news about Stef and Brandon.

"When Rita's (guest star Rosie O'Donnell) daughter shows up unexpectedly, Callie sees a different side of Rita and learns the reason behind their strained relationship. Stef discovers a new lead in the hit-and-run case. Brandon confronts his moms about the tensions in the house," posts CarterMatt.

Where will Callie end up after episode eight? Will she stay with the Fosters? Will she be reassigned to a different family? And if yes, will she be replaced by baby Isabella? These are just some of the things to be answered when "The Fosters" goes back on air.

"The Fosters," currently on its third season, piloted on June 3, 2013. It revolves around lesbian couple Stef and Lena, who are raising a group of their biological (Brandon), adopted (Jesus, Mariana, and Jude), and foster (Callie) kids.

It has been well-received, both by viewers and critics and even won the Outstanding Drama Series at the GLAAD Media Awards and the Choice Breakout Television Show at the Teen Choice Awards.

The eighth episode of "The Fosters" season three premieres on ABC Family this Aug. 3.
