'The Good Wife' season 7 news, spoilers: Margulies thanks fans for 'best wrap present'

(Facebook / The Good Wife)Four more episodes and "The Good Wife" wraps up for good.

Four more episodes to go until "The Good Wife" wraps up. It was recently reported that the show has already finished filming the season 7 and series finale episode.

To mark the end of the show, Julianna Margulies, who portrays the lead role Alicia Florrick, posted a photo of her and Jeffrey Dean Morgan on her official Facebook page on Monday, Apr. 11.

A day before the photo upload, she posted a thank-you message after she received a package and a letter from her fans at the film set. She said that it was the best wrap present she has ever received.

She added, "Thank you for all your kind words and good wishes. Thank you for going on this journey with me. I know how lucky I am to have had this opportunity, and I am forever grateful to the Kings for giving me the chance to play such a wonderful role."

Showrunners Robert and Michael King announced last February that the show will end with seven seasons only because Alicia's story could only go on in seven years. Michelle added, "We felt very fortunate and flattered that we're being allowed to end the show with the writers and producers the way we want it to end."

After a two-week break on air, "The Good Wife" returns with an all-new episode on Sunday, Apr. 17. The upcoming episode 19, titled "Landing," will show Alicia and Lucca in Toronto to represent NSA Agent Jeff Delinger after getting detained by the customs in Canada. Diane, on the other hand, has been more concerned for her husband Kurt after his decision to retire and sell his business to Holly Westfall, who happens to be his competitor. Meanwhile, Peter realizes that he can possibly be arrested and he doesn't know where his future is heading to.

"The Good Wife" season 7 airs every Sunday at 9 p.m. on CBS.
