Fans of the Hobbit book and movie franchise can't wait until the trailer for Battle of Five Armies comes out, and according to one website, it will drop on July 20.

Few details about the upcoming follow-up to The Desolation of Smaug have been released, but fans are yet to see what the latest Hobbit movie looks like. OneRing.com, a website of all things related to The Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit, did a calculation on when the trailer will come out. The website took into consideration the release dates of other The Hobbit trailers, and they have come to a conclusion that it will be July 20th for Battle of Five Armies.

According to past reports, the Battle of Five Armies will have an "epic" battle led by the dragon Smaug. In the last Hobbit movie, Smaug looked like he could use a good battle, and that's what will Battle of Five Armies will offer. Smaug, together with enemy forces, is set to terrorize Lake Town.

Benedict Cumberbatch, the actor who voices the menacing dragon, talked to Den of Geek about his character.

"He's just legendary in the world of The Hobbit, and he is the ultimate dragon. He's an extraordinary creation in the book. And what we've all managed to achieve - especially the people at WETA, the post-production and sound facilities in Wellington - is extraordinary. It's another leap forward in cinema, as Gravity was - an environment you can believe in totally, and with the 48 [frames per second] it's extraordinarily real," says Cumberbatch in the Den of Geek interview.
