'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' teaser trailer: Katniss to fight The Capitol

A teaser trailer has finally been released for the third installment of 'The Hunger Games' franchise. Mockingjay Part 1 shows a stern Katniss Everdeen determined to lead the fight against The Capitol.

Debuting at the 2014 Comic-Con in San Diego, Calif., the exclusive 1-minute footage of Mockingay part 1 shows how the rebellion against The Capitol is shaping up.

During the first part of the trailer, Philip Seymour-Hoffman's character, Plutarch Heavensbee, is seen defending and endorsing Katniss to lead the rebellion in front of Julianne Moore's character, Alma Coin.

"Listen to me. No one else can do this but her," Heavensbee tells Coin, who thinks the opposite. Coin is believed by the fact that the Games 'destroyed' Katniss.

"We need to unite these people out there. She is the face of this rebellion," Heavensbee firmly advises.

The trailer, dubbed by news sites as 'spoiler-free,' shows the rebellion and how The Capitol is managing it. It says that any association with the logo Mockingjay is 'forbidden,' and obviously, this pertains to what Katniss did in the last film.

Julianne Moore's appearance is not the only new character peek seen in the trailer; it also shows what Natalie Dormer ("Game of Thrones," "The Tudors") looks like as a fighter against the Capitol in the film.

At the end of the trailer, a young man who's active in the rebellion asks Katniss, as she enters a room filled with people, "are you fighting? Are you here to fight with us?"

"I am. I will," Katniss answers with a serious look on her face.
