'The Originals' season 3 spoilers: Can Hayley get cure for werewolf curse? Can Elijah and Klaus repair broken relationship?

A bloody battle at the end of season two's finale episode may have resulted in victory for the Mikaelson family, but also left broken relationships in its wake. The most broken relationship of them all was that of Klaus and Elijah who watched Klaus hurt the two people he loved the most in this world: Hayley and Gia.

Elijah watched Gia burn to death, while Hayley's curse was altered so that she could only transform into her human form once a month on a full moon night. The cursed Hayley met Elijah in the finale and made him promise to be in her daughter Hope's life. While Klaus and Elijah were at odds in season two, it seems there is little hope their relationship will improve in season three. However, the upcoming season will still focus on the relationship between Elijah and Klaus, reports Enstars. Can the two set aside their differences in order to protect baby Hope against impending threats?

TVLine reports that season three will also focus on Hayley's curse and fans who have been wondering if the character will be written off should breathe a sigh of relief, as executive producer Michael Narducci has confirmed it won't be happening.

In fact, the upcoming season will focus on her curse and whether there is a cure. Narducci said, "Even though she's in a worst-case scenario, we definitely have not seen the last of her. We have to resolve what has been done to her and what it means to her, and if there is any cure to her situation, we'll have to deal with that as priority one. Whether that improves her condition, or significantly worsens it, I can't say."

But perhaps the most intriguing spoiler of the season is that a new villain will be revealed. Narducci spoke to Entertainment Weekly and made it clear that the Mikaelsons will deal with a new threat.

"The Originals" airs season three this fall.
