The latest promotional poster that The CW released for "The Vampire Diaries" spinoff, "The Originals" season 4, shows a little girl who is believed to be Hope (Summer Fontana), standing barefoot in the middle of the forest where dead crows form a circle around her. The tagline in the poster says, "Evil walks with us, always and forever." It is believed that season 4 will highlight her abilities and powers.

Hope is the daughter of the original hybrid Niklaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) and werewolf turned hybrid Hayley Marshall-Kenner (Pheobe Tonkin). "She definitely shares her mother's street smarts," executive producer Michael Narducci told TV Line. "But may or may not also display some of her father's temper and willingness to do whatever it takes to protect her family," he added.

Considering the unique makeup of her parents, Hope is expected to be just as powerful or even more powerful than Niklaus and Hayley, being the first natural born tribrid. Hayley, formerly married to Jackson Kenner, was originally a werewolf when she first appeared in "The Vampire Diaries." In "The Originals," she is portrayed as an original hybrid and queen of the Crescent Wolf Pack at the same time.

Niklaus, on the other hand, is one of the strongest and oldest living vampires who was able to unleash his werewolf side. One of his intentions in doing so is to create more hybrids such as himself.

Several sources mentioned that the storyline of season 4 will take place five years after the events in season 3. It is believed that the grown up Hope will do everything in her power to save and protect her family. Hayley, on the other hand, is said to go on a difficult journey in order to reunite with her loved ones. She is expected to have an encounter with Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) and Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood).

Meanwhile, reports suggest that one of two previously dead characters might resurface in season 4. Either Camille (Leah Pipes) or Davina (Danielle Campbell) is expected to make a short appearance in the upcoming installment.

"The Originals" season 4 will premiere on Friday, March 17, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
