"Fear the Walking Dead" may be doing a really good job in reminding people that there was life before Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his merrymen of zombie-fighters. But Rick and company promise to deliver just as much excitement, if not more, when it returns in October. A "The Walking Dead" season six special will bring zombies in a place fans have never seen them before.

There have been stand-alone webisodes of "The Walking Dead" in previous seasons, but none of these mini online shows spilled off to the television shows. However, that is about to change in season six.

AMC announced a series of special webisodes, which will introduce a new character for season two of "Fear the Walking Dead." In the special, walkers will be roaming an in-flight airplane.

The zombies on a plane story arc will surely see passengers either dying or surrendering to the infection one-by-one. But the network teases that at least one of them will stand victorious at the end. And who is that character? Fans will get to know more when "Fear The Walkind Dead" premieres its next season.

How to watch the zombie attacks on the plane? Fans can go online and watch the debut or simply sit back, relax, and see the different chapters unfold during "The Walking Dead's" season six. AMC says parts of the special will be interspersed with "TWD" on-air telecasts.

AMC has chosen to hold back on revealing more information about the said special, but Entertainment Weekly posed some very important questions which fans might also have: Where is the flight headed? What is the name of the surviving character? Who will portray him or her? How many mini episodes are there?

"The Walking Dead" season six premieres on Oct. 11. Its prequel series, "Fear the Walking Dead," is currently on-air and churns out new episodes every Sunday night.
