"The Walking Dead" fans have to wait a few months to know who Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) victim was. However, a trailer that was recently released might give fans the answer to this.

The preview for the seventh season of the show revealed that one of the members of the wicked group Saviour was wearing Daryl's (Norman Reedus) vest and riding his motorcycle while he traverses a path filled with the undead.

The 50-second clip revealed Dwight (Austin Amelio) with Daryl's iconic items. Dwight has stolen Daryl's stuff before, but the cliffhanger ending of season 6 which definitely revealed a character death is making everyone wonder if it was Daryl.

Many seem to believe that the clip suggests that Daryl was the victim of the Saviour leader Negan. Or could that trailer have been released to make the fans think so?

In previous episodes, viewers were able to understand that Dwight has been fixated on ending Daryl. Previously, he stole Daryl's bike and crossbow in "Always Accountable," and he then tries to kill Daryl with his own weapon. He failed to kill Daryl; however, Dwight did manage to pierce Denise's (Meritt Wever) eye.

The story behind Dwight's possession of Dary's iconic vest remains a mystery. If Negan did kill Daryl, then that jacket could have easily been a souvenir for his death. If not, then maybe Daryl had another confrontation with Dwight, and hopefully, he managed to escape unscathed. Most likely, fans are hoping for the latter to happen.

According to Variety, Andrew Lincoln, who portrays Rick in this dystopian television series, admitted that Negan's victim will be revealed in the pilot episode of the seventh season. The actor said that it's a pretty awful way to start the season, but then he also promised that succeeding events will be a whole lot better for the main characters.

The seventh season of "The Walking Dead" will premiere on Sunday, Oct. 23, at 9 p.m. on AMC.
