The free weekly DLC content for the "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" has proven that the developer CD Projekt Red is serious about rewarding those who bought the game that released recently. This week saw two more pieces of DLC content being released and they brought a new quest centered on finding missing miners and also alternate look for Yennefer of Vengerberg.

Last week, saw the first two pieces of free DLC content arrive for the game. They included the Temerian Armor Set created for the horse in the game and a Beard and Hairstyle Set designed for main protagonist Geralt. The Armor set became available via a merchant in the White Orchard while Geralt got a huge number of beard and hairstyles in the other set and players just had to head over to a barber in a major town like Novigrad or Oxenfurt to experience them.

The free DLC content this week will first include a "Missing Miners" contract in which Geralt will have to find out the reason behind the disappearances of miners. The other piece will focus on changing the look of Yennefer. As with the DLC content released last week once the packs have been downloaded they will have to be located within the game.

Without the free DLC packs installed, "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" has about 200 hours of content to entertain gamers and these will be enhanced later in the year when the first of two expansion packs land. In total, the two packs will add around 30 hours of content to the game but they will have to be purchased.

As for now however, gamers can enjoy the 16 free DLC packs, of which two will release each week. Speaking on behalf of CD Projekt Red co-CEO Marcin Iwinski stated that they wanted to thank the fans who had bought the game and instead of attaching a steep price tag on tantalizing bits of content they decided to provide it for free.
