'The Blacklist' season 3 spoilers: the Cabal comes after Liz; still not confirmed if Megan Boone's pregnancy will be written into the show

Fans of "The Blacklist" are on tenterhooks now that Eizabeth Keen is in the hands of the FBI, as it's only a matter of time before the Cabal gets their hands on her. And with the series currently on a short hiatus, fans are scouring the web once more for any spoilers regarding the next episode.
The midseason finale of "The Blacklist" season three saw the two fugitives robbed and Raymond Reddington (James Spader) captured, prompting Liz (Megan Boone) to swap him for a package that contained the files that would exonerate her. Shockingly, Liz was later captured by the FBI while Red was able to escape.
This certainly doesn't bode well for Liz and she knows that, as the trailer for episode nine, "The Directors," shows. The clip starts with a shot of Liz's being thoroughly cuffed while Ressler (Diego Klatenhoff) assures her that she'll get a fair hearing. She tells him that they both know she won't make it to that hearing alive. Liz is then shown being escorted by a battalion of FBI agents and Ressler and placed in a holding cell similar to where Red was held before. Ressler promises his former partner that he will keep her safe.
Red is seen on the phone, presumably talking to Ressler and telling him that the Cabal will come for her. True enough, the Director is seen on the way to see her. There's a montage of Tom (Ryan Eggold) trying to avoid being shot, Red in a cemetery and Mr. Solomon pointing a gun at someone.
Red is then heard telling Ressler that if the Cabal reaches her, it will be the last time he sees Elizabeth again. The ominous warning seems to ring true as the clip's final scene shows Liz collapsing after the Director came to see her.
The sneak peek certainly has a lot of images to take in. But another situation that the writers and "The Blacklist's" showrunners have to consider is Boone's real life pregnancy and how this will affect the show. "TV Line" has reported that a representative from Sony has informed them that the show will still shoot the ordered 22 episodes, but that they're still undecided as to how Boone's pregnancy will be written – or not – in the show.
"The Blacklist" season three will return from its midseason break on Jan. 7, 2016.
