"The Flash" has not kept it a secret: season two will be filled with new characters from parallel universes, new love interests and fresh villains. And the show has revealed another superhero and one more villain who will be joining the ranks of the Central City cast.

Fans already know that Barry Allen's The Flash (Grant Gustin) won't be the only speedster in town in the new season. He will be running alongside the first man to ever dub himself Flash in comic history, Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears). But what fans don't know is that there will be a third speedster visiting Central City.

TVLine reports that girl power is speeding its way to season two of "The Flash," with the inclusion of superhero Jesse Quick, in a multiple episode story arc, where she will be right smack in the middle of The Flash's and Professor Zoom's epic war. She is described as a smart and quirky college girl, which makes sense, as in the comics, Jesse Quick's alter-ego Jesse Chambers, is a student at the Gotham University. Violett Beane has been cast to play the role.

The CW's speedster superhero hit is also welcoming on board a new supervillain named Henry Hewitt aka Tokamak, to be portrayed by Demore Barnes. Tokamak is one of the lesser known Firestorm villains. According to Comicbook.com, The CW describes his character as "a charming, but cocky scientist who was affected by the same Particle Accelerator explosion that created the Flash. When Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) recruits him to join the team at S.T.A.R. Labs, Hewitt jumps at the opportunity to fulfill his destiny as a powerful meta-human."

Casting news continues, as Entertainment Weekly dishes out that fans have not seen the last of Linda Park. Malese Jow will be reprising her role in the new season. Will she continue to interfere in Barry and Iris West's (Candice Patton) or will she find a new love interest, perhaps Wally West, played by Keiynan Lonsdale, who just happens to be her future husband in the comic books?

Gabrielle Stanton, executive producer for the show, teased Linda's reappearance on the show, "[She] will return as Iris West's [Candice Patton] friend and colleague at Central Picture News and her past relationship with Barry will put both Iris and The Flash in unexpected danger."

"The Flash" returns on The CW for season two this Oct. 6.
