Amazon's alternative history drama series "The Man In The High Castle" has already been renewed for the second season. There was a teaser photo that was posted in their Facebook page captioned "The Man in the High Castle. Season 2." According to a post from TVline last month, just four weeks after the release of the first season of the series, Amazon decided to renew it with another 10 episodes.

It was also reported that "The Man in the High Castle" became the most streamed original series in its first four weeks in the streaming service. It has beaten the record set by the show "Bosch," which was previously at the top of the most streamed list. This could probably be the reason why they did not hesitate in renewing the series.

The second season of series will still have Frank Spotnitz as its showrunner. He is the main man behind the first successful adaptation of Philip K. Dick's award-winning novel. Spotnitz will be trying his luck again for a second success with Amazon's original series.

"The Man in the high Castle" is the story about an alternative ending of World War II where the Axis Power, Nazis and Japanese would have ruled over the United States. The Western part of U.S. has been occupied by the Japanese forces. The Eastern part of the U.S. is controlled by Germany and the central Rocky Mountain States will serve as the neutral zone in-between.

It certainly is an interesting take on history and remains to be one of the most unique shows with a stellar cast. The first season starred Alexa Davalos, Rupert Evans, Rufus Sewell and Like Kleintank, who were speculated to be coming back for the upcoming season.

No official annoucement has been made about the show's second season premiere, but it is speculated to come back on air sometime this year.
