'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' news: Yolanda Foster and David Foster get a divorce; couple released a mutual statement

Perhaps nobody saw it coming but came it did: "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Yolanda Foster has split from musician husband David Foster.
Yesterday, entertainment news sites have been plagued by announcements from Yolanda and David Foster themselves that they are divorcing. The couple, who have been together for nine years, first told PEOPLE that that they will be divorcing after years of what seemed like blissful marriage, which they have so proudly flaunted on the Bravo show "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
"Sadly we have decided to go our separate ways. We've shared nine beautiful and joyous years together and during that time we experienced love, friendship, and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues," says their statement to the news site.
One of the health issues that the couple referred to is Yolanda's Lyme disease, which the reality star was diagnosed of in 2012 and which played a lot in her "storyline" for the reality show. She was also sometimes criticised for her treatments but she always maintained that despite these criticisms, David has always remained one of her strengths.
The two added that they tried their best to keep the marriage alive and no matter the ending, they are happy for the years they spent together. They say that they will always love and respect each other.
A separate report from E! News says a source emphasised that there is no "big scandal" in the split. The decision was mutual, the source said, and that they will always care deeply for each other.
"They put the statement out to keep people from speculating and saying things that weren't true about the marriage," the source adds.
The couple has no children together but have had kids from previous marriages. Yolanda's marriage with real estate developer Mohamed Hadid resulted to three kids Gigi, Bella, and Anwar. David also has five daughters from his four other previous marriages.
The new season of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" has finished filming and so the divorce won't play out in the small screen.
