'Thor: Ragnarok' Rumors: Heimdall to Die as Mjolnir Is Destroyed?

In what could be one of the saddest theories ever said about "Thor: Ragnarok," it is rumored that Thor's dear friend Heimdall will meet his end and the Mjolnir will be destroyed.

Recent reports suggest that Heimdall (Idris Elba) will meet his demise in the hands of Hela, who is rumored to be played by the awesome Cate Blanchett. Hela is the beautiful ruler of the Underworld, and earlier reports suggest that Loki (Tom Hiddleston) will join hands with the goddess in a mission that has yet to be revealed.

Other reports suggest that Hela and Loki will embark on a journey of attacking Asgard, and while Thor (Chris Hemsworth) will try to take down the evils that dare try to ruin his beloved kingdom, the Norse goddess will destroy Thor's Mjolnir. Unfortunately, it won't just be the hammer that Thor will lose. Heimdall is said to die in the middle of the chaos.

On the other hand, it is also said that Heimdall's soul will return to a final battle where he will join other fallen Asgardian warriors to keep Asgard from Hela and Loki's evil plans. Thor will also be there, but it is unclear if the Mjolnir will lend him its powers for one last time.

It should be noted, though, that Elba's return is not yet confirmed so fans can just hope that Thor's friend will realize that he is needed in Asgard, not only to secure the Bifrost bridge but also to help keep the kingdom from its utter fall.

Other theories suggest that one of the Infinity Stones will be featured in the movie and it could be either the Soul or Time Stone.

Movie Pilot says another issue that definitely has to be addressed in the upcoming movie is Odin's (Anthony Hopkins) disappearance. Fans need to know what Loki did to his adoptive father. Some say he went "Odinsleeping" and was taken away by Loki. Moviegoers are also looking forward to his appearance since it wouldn't make a good movie if Odin's death or disappearance isn't explained.

"Thor: Ragnarok" hits the big screens on Nov. 3, 2017.
