The wait is almost over and the new Transfomers 4: Age of Extinction is set to release in theaters nationwide on June 27, 2014.

The upcoming Michael Bay blockbuster stars Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager, and will not see the return of Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox.

In a recent interview with LA Times, Wahlberg talked about his starring role in the film. "'Ted' was definitely a good warmup. With 'Ted,' it was a more intimate setting. But this movie is much bigger and more intense. You've got eight Autobots talking to you at the same time."

The movie's international title is called "Transformers: Lost Age." Wahlberg recently introduced the trailer for the movie to his Japanese fans with the new title. "Go check out my latest film Transformers: Lost Age, it has tons of action, new characters and its full of effects that you've never seen before, it opens in Japan in August, don't miss it."

In other Transformers 4 news, new stills featuring co-stars Stanley Tucci and Li Bingbing were featured this week.

In the film, Stanley Tucci (Joshua) and Li Bingbing (Sue Yueming), work as a team to create Transformers-based technologies using "alien technology."

The cast also ncludes Nicola Peltz as Tessa Yeager, Jack Reynor as Shane, T.J. Miller as Lucas and Kelsey Grammer as Harold Attinger.

The Transformers: Age of Extinction film will hit U.S. theaters on June 27, before releasing in the UK on July 10. The movie will hit Japan on August 8.
