Vampire Diaries season 6 premiere date - Will deaths be permanent?

Vampire Diaries Season 5 Finale spoilers are already circulating as among the contemporary hottest TV series on the CW. Speculations about many deaths to expect in the finale add up to the thrill in the anticipation of the final episode for season 5.

Whether the major deaths in the season 5 finale will really be permanent or not, is the question. However, "it's what happens to them that matters", actress Kat Graham told E! Online.

Many think that the death will just be the start for the characters since Paul Wesley, who plays Stefan's character, gave hints about an environment change in Season 6. He said the finale will establish parameters for Season 6. From Paul's hints, fans question what these "new parameters" may mean. Will they include the other side of the Other Side, or merely a re-set of mortal plane location?

On the other hand, while people see relationships having great things at the end, and experiencing worse things along the way, this may not be the case for the love story of Damon and Elena. Though they love each other, their fate may not give "good feelings" to the fans. This is a hint from Caroline Dries, executive producer of Vampire Diaries.

Dries said the big thing that will happen in the finale will lead to the next TVD season, which will be more on bringing "people back together and picking up the pieces." She also mentioned to Entertainment Weekly about her wish to discard the "other side", and Bonnie to possibly leave for good.

The Vampire Diaries season 5 finale will air May 14 at 8p.m. ET. The finale episode will be available to watch online on CW.

Vampire Diaries season 6 is expected to air in October 2014.
