'Wolverine 3' news: This is the last time Patrick Stewart will reprise role as as Professor X

A lot of Marvel fans are excited for the final installment of "Wolverine." There are rumors that this will be the last time Patrick Stewart will reprise his role as Professor X. Furthermore, a lot of fans are reacting to a photo that Hugh Jackman has posted on Instagram.

"Wolverine 3" will reportedly be the last time Patrick Stewart will appear as Professor X. ITV was able to interview the actor at the University of Huddersfield. He stated in the interview: "I would imagine this is probably the end of this franchise for me. But the thing about science fiction and fantasy is that you can never, ever say it's the end, it's over." This is the seventh time that the actor has taken the role of Professor X.

In addition, the actor has also mentioned that he will treat the character this time with a different perspective.

Meanwhile, it is not only Patrick Stewart who will play his role for the last time, but Hugh Jackman as well. This will be the last time that the actor will take on the iconic role of Wolverine.

Recently, the actor has uploaded a photo on Instagram, and it appears that Jackman seems to look older. Many fans are already aware that the plot of the sequel will focus on a much older version of Logan. However, fans are wondering if the actor has really aged that much in the photo or if it was just a really good makeup job for the actor.

Furthermore, the new film will focus on Old Man Logan since the movie will be set in a post-apocalyptic future. There are still not many details regarding the new film, although many fans are also wondering if it will follow the new timeline that was set during "X-Men: Days of Future Past.

"Wolverine 3" is slated to be released on March 3, 2017.
