Wrestlemania 32 rumors: John Cena will appear in non-wrestling role at WWE spectacle

To date, WWE star John Cena is not expected to be back in the ring until July but that will not prevent the Cenation leader from doing something else at the event when Wrestlemania 32 happens next week from the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Cena suffered a shoulder injury back in January for which he eventually had to undergo surgery. Such was a big blow as the WWE already had its share of problems with injured stars. Aside from Cena, others WWE stars on the injured list are Seth Rollins, Cesaro and Randy Orton. Of that mix, Orton is expected to be back next month after Wrestlemania 32.

While Cena did share some updates back in February as he tries to work his way back into shape, such sent wrong signals that the 38-year-old wrestler would be making a miraculous recovery in time for Wrestlemania.

The speculations were partially true though. With word that Cena would be at the event, the most logical thing to expect is for Cena to put his talent behind the microphone to good use.

Hence, his role is likely to be similar to what the Rock and some WWE legends have been doing to perk up the event without any physical participation since he's still recuperating.

Original plans had Cena possibly facing the Undertaker which would have been the swan song of the "Dead Man". It is believed that this will be Undertaker's last Wrestlemania. As things stand now, that honor may fall in the hands of Shane McMahon.

Shane-O-Mac and the Undertaker will be facing off in a "Hell in a Cell" match where a win by Shane will reward him full control of WWE Raw. If the Undertaker loses, his legacy ends at Wrestlemania 32.

For Cena, he is expected to miss three succeeding WWE pay-per-views until he gets (possible) clearance in July. That includes Payback, Extreme Rules and Battleground.
