Former WWE Divas champion Brie Bella has been rumoured to be following the lead of her husband Daniel Bryan, and now, that time has unfortunately come.

Brie is expected to announce her retirement in the coming weeks, which will likely be at the WWE Raw episode (April 4) following Wrestlemania 32 this weekend.

The former champion will be shying away from the WWE scene to look after her husband. Daniel was originally set to hold a "Daniel Bryan Appreciation Night," as well as a Wrestlemania Axxess signing.

Daniel, who formally announced his retirement last month, is believed to be having health issues and such is seen as the reason why Brie has fast-tracked her retirement plans.

While she did announce she would be retiring this year, WWE fans were expecting such to happen after upcoming PPVs like "SummerSlam" or even "Money in the Bank." But with the urgent turn of events, the incremental departure has been whittled down to the coming weeks.

Right now, Brie may be wrestling her final shows against Lana. The "Ravishing Russian" has been interfering with Brie's matches, which could pave the way for Lana's much awaited in-ring debut.

The troubles that Brie and Daniel are going through seem to be obvious with the former Divas champion conspicuously absent from recent WWE shows.

Despite the planned retirement, Brie is still expected to make appearances in the WWE scene. She will still be appearing at WWE Total Divas and will continue to serve as an ambassador for the WWE.

Brie and Daniel have made it known in the past that they plan to buckle down and raise a family, something that was seen as the reason for Brie's original retirement plans.

But with health issues now plaguing her husband, complications towards achieving that have come into play. An update on Daniel's health status should be out in the coming week and hopefully nothing serious.
