Roman Reigns continues to hear the boos and disapproval of the WWE fans after being crowned the new WWE heavyweight champion, though the Big Dog has become numb to most of it.

Knowing for a fact that the fans hate him for one reason or another, Reigns remains focused on the road ahead. He knows that his health is the most important of them all and dealing with the hatred and adapting it to his persona will be a must.

So far, Reigns has portrayed an arrogant character which calls to mind "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Austin started out as a heel wrestler but somehow managed to win the fans with his tough attitude.

Austin and Reigns are two different people, but if the Big Dog can get some pointers from Austin, he may yet make believers out of the detractors.

Right now, Reigns has made it clear that he is not a good or bad guy. He seems to be a person standing alone right now and welcomes all comers to the heavyweight title.

The Raw episode following Wrestlemania 32 was proof of such with Reign letting the others slug it out for the right to challenge him. And in the end, it was AJ Styles who came out on top

Seeing the popularity of AJ Styles despite his recent arrival could help Reigns in some ways. Styles is obviously the face character here while Reigns can play it both ways – face and heel.

But right now, signs are indicating that Reigns will be headed towards the heel persona which many feel is the right path to align with the boos he has been hearing from the WWE Universe.

Moving forward, there is no doubt Reigns continues to be the next face of the company. The road ahead is rocky but it would not be surprising if he ends up being at the main event of Wrestlemania 33 as well.

The WWE fans are likely to react violently if Reigns does end up in the main event once again. But as mentioned time and again, it is the WWE's business and not the fans with their social media-based threats.
