Xbox Live Games with Gold June 2015 free game rumors: 'Forza Motorsport 5' and 'Ryse: Son of Rome' to commemorate E3

The 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) is fast approaching and video game fans, across all consoles and platforms are excited over the reveals, promos and freebies to be dished out by their favorite game developers and console makers. Like the Nintendo World Championships and the rumored PS Plus triple A release by Sony, Microsoft will also commemorate the annual video game trade fair with a nice treat for loyal Xbox Live Gold subscribers.

Xbox Live Gold is a paid subscription service for the Xbox community. As compared to the free Xbox Live, gold members can play online and access more services. Gold features include smartmatch, private and party chat, in-game voice communication, game recording and media sharing. Subscribers are granted exclusive access to betas, special offers, Games with Gold, cloud storage and Video Kinect.

Each month, gold members of Xbox Live receive complimentary games called Games of Gold. Following the release of the acclaimed "Rayman Legends" in March, fans are expecting a similar caliber title for the June Games of Gold release, according to an article by Christian Post.

Xbox Live Gold subscribers had received three games for free for the month of May: "CastleStorm: Definitive Edition," "Pool Nation FX," and "Mafia II."

Fans are now expecting a triple A title for Games of Gold this June, such as the racing game "Forza Motorsport 5" from Turn 10 studios and the third-person action-adventure game "Ryse: Son of Rome" from Crytek. Both are considered as high-end games, but not impossible for Microsoft to offer for free. There's no official announcement yet for Microsoft's free games for June and fans will have to wait a bit more, as the list of Games of Gold titles are normally revealed on the last Thursday of each month.

Fans can watch the Xbox E3 2015 briefing on June 15, as Microsoft reveals its plans for the console.
