Xbox One backwards compatibility news 2016: Games set to be available as early as end of March?
Ever since the backwards compatibility feature of Xbox One was announced, fans have been waiting to try out the new games, but it appears that gamers will have to extend their patience a little bit more as new reports suggest that the games will be available by the end of March.

Fans got too excited over the past few days when Microsoft announced that new titles will finally be added to the console's backwards compatibility list, and though some of the already announced games didn't make fans happy, there is a lot of anticipation for the yet-to-be-announced titles.
According to Express, director of program management for Xbox Mike Ybarra said recently that the upcoming update, which will be home to the latest additions, possibly won't be around by the end of March.
One of the most-anticipated features that will come with this month's update is the Xbox One Backward Compatibility store, which, according to Ybarra, will be the outlet that gamers will start using to see what's available on the list of Xbox 360 classics. "Instead of having to go to Xbox.com or boot up their 360, they'll be able to do this way [Through the Xbox Store]. It will only stock Backward Compatible games on Xbox One," he explained.
Over the past year, some fans have complained about the games available on the console and with the new feature coming very soon, fans can finally say that Microsoft is taking feedback very seriously.
Meanwhile, N4BB lists down the new additions that fans can check out when the feature arrives.
- The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings
- Sam & Max Save the World
- Aegis Wing
- Age of Booty
- Soulcalibur
- Counter-Strike: GO
- Space Giraffe
- Skullgirls
- Jeremy McGrath's Offroad
- Small Arms
- Sacred 3
- Geometry Wars Evolved
Other games confirmed to be on the list include:
- Crackdown
- Crackdown 2
- Mass Effect 3
- Bomberman Live
- Halo Wars
- Skate 3
- Bioshock 2
- Bioshock: Infinite
- Call of Duty: Black Ops
While many fans are demanding for more "Call of Duty" titles to be included in the upcoming update, they should also remember that some of the games in the franchise are massive compared to other games and it would take a lot of time to get them available if Microsoft decides to include them in the backwards compatible game list.
