The cast and crew of "American Horror Story" are doing a very good job of keeping a tight lid on details about the new season—so much so that not even a theme has been revealed or leaked. However, the horror anthology series has recently unveiled a teaser in the form of a new logo.

The official social media accounts of the said show have released a photo of a blood red number six which has been stylized to incorporate a question mark. Aside from the network's logo, FX, on the right side, nothing else is seen. The image consists of a black background, highlighting the vibrant red.

A complete list of the cast is also unknown as of the moment. However, Cheyenne Jackson has confirmed his return to "American Horror Story" season 6.

In an interview with Out, Jackson revealed that season 6 will be "Just different. You'll see. Wild horses wouldn't make me reveal the plot." He also confirmed the news via his Twitter account.

Jackson played Will Drake in "American Horror Story: Hotel," a fashion designer who married Lady Gaga's The Countess.

Details about the upcoming season are scarce. A theme, plot and set of characters have not even been made public, save for a few things that co-creator Ryan Murphy has dished out. All fans know is that the new season will heavily feature children as a theme and that it will be set in the present time, but will mirror some things that happened in the past.

According to reports, the sixth season of the FX anthology series has already begun shooting in Los Angeles. However, seeing as this has not been confirmed by the network or any of the people involved, fans should take this news with a grain of salt and wait for further announcements.

"American Horror Story" season 6 is expected to premiere sometime in the latter part of 2016.
