Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of "Attack on Titan" season 2, but an announcement for its air date has yet to be made. However, it is speculated that the second season may premiere in April 2017.

There were previous rumors claiming that "Attack on Titan" season 2 will air in February. However, according to iSportsTimes, an April release seems more likely. This is apparently due to Japan's program release cycle, which usually airs shows in January, April, July, and October. The publication points out that a January release would have warranted an announcement by now, so the most reasonable prediction would be April. Plus, it was previously revealed that the second season will land in the spring. 

However, there has also been talk about the series not being released in the United States. If true, it certainly comes as disappointing news for Western fans of the Japanese animated series. The first season proved that there is also a huge market in the West, so barring the second season's release will not be received well. However, it should be noted that this has not been confirmed yet, so fans should take this news with a grain of salt.

The second season of "Attack on Titan" will see the continuation of the fight against the Titans. Eren and his friends have big challenges ahead, especially with rumors circulating that a beast-like Titan and an intelligent Titan will make their debut. It is also believed that Eren will form an alliance with Zeke, in order to save Mikasa and Levi. 

However, other theories claim that Eren will be the one who needs saving in season 2. Eren will apparently put himself in danger, forcing Mikasa, Levi, and Armin to band together to save him. Speaking of Armin, there is also chatter online that he may betray Eren's trust, in order to save Wall Rose.

It remains to be seen if any of these predictions will come true. Fans will have to patiently wait a ltitle longer to find out.
