"Boruto: Naruto the Movie" is sure out to widen its commercial success. The latest film in the "Naruto" series will not only be shown in the U.S. in two days time, it will also get screen time in Australia next week.

The film has been moved to a weekend opening in the U.S., a few days later than its initial release date of Oct. 7, but fans of the franchise who are situated in the country can still consider themselves lucky. It was announced only recently that the manga-based anime film will be showcased in theaters in Australia, and it will be at a later date than in America.

Yibada reports that the 11th "Naruto" film will be shown in Australian theaters starting Oct. 15. Fans based Down Under will have to make sure to watch the film as soon as they can since it will be on a limited seven-day run. Last day of showing in Australia is Oct. 21.

"Boruto: Naruto the Movie" is based on the manga created by Masashi Kishimoto. It is considered the highest-grossing film in the franchise, with Anime News Network reporting a total of YEN 409,646,200 (approximately $3.29 million) after only two nights in Japan. Its total earnings has been pegged at YEN 2.02 billion (around $16.7 million). Even without admission sales in the U.S. and Australia, the figures have already surpassed the preceding film, "The Last: Naruto the Movie."

In the latest movie, Naruto's son Boruto vows to be a better ninja than his father. The decision comes in light of his resentment toward what he sees as Naruto's failure as a father. Since Naruto is more focused on being a hero, Boruto thinks surpassing his father's achievement is the best revenge.

Ticket sales for the movie is still ongoing. Eleven Arts is updating movie schedules and is accepting reservations on its website.

"Boruto: Naruto the Movie" opens in theaters in the U.S. this Saturday, Oct. 10.
