'Game of Thrones' season 7 rumors, cast news: Kit Harington spotted in Wolf Hill Quarry; fiery scene set in Malpartida

(Facebook/GameofThrones)Filming continues in parts of Spain and Northern Ireland.

More details have been revealed about "Game of Thrones" season 7 filming locations set in Northern Ireland and Spain. Kit Harington has been spotted in Wolf Hill Quarry and several extras have been tapped for the scenes set to be shot in Cáceres.

According to Watchers on the Wall, Wolf Hill Quarry in Northern Ireland is believed to be the location for an action sequence involving Harington's Jon Snow. The set is snowy and a blurry photo of Harington by an ice lake seems to confirm the speculation. And although the photo is not clear, the spoiler site is sure of Harington's identity.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that female extras will be taking part in scenes set in Cáceres. This is noteworthy because this is the first time in season 7's production that female extras have been needed. Only male extras have been spotted in filming locations so far, mainly due to the nature of scenes. Plus, Lannister guards are also going to take part in filming. In Cáceres, female extras and Lannister guards mean that the place may be the set for King's Landing.

Apart from that, a video shot in Malpartida seems to see a man catching on dragonfire. The man can be heard screaming "khaleesi," although his identity is unknown. It also remains to be seen if the fire really is dragonfire or something else entirely. However, it should be noted that the scene was shot in Malpartida de Cáceres, which is also the filming location of a large battle sequence involving the Lannister and Tarly armies against a horde of Dothraki and perhaps even the Unsullied. Since the latter two are on Daenerys' side, it would make sense for the Mother of Dragons to ride in on one of her trusty pets and set her enemies ablaze.

However, since these have not been officially confirmed, readers should take this news with a grain of salt.
