'Gilmore Girls' revival spoilers, news: Netflix releases new featurette

Nostalgia is abound as a featurette of the "Gilmore Girls" revival has been released by Netflix online. The video sees the stars of the show in a behind-the-scenes look as they reminisce on the past seasons and look forward to the revival.

Fans around the world rejoiced when it was announced that Netflix had commissioned a revival special of "Gilmore Girls." Since things were left somewhat open-ended in the series finale, seeing how the girls' lives turned out eight years later is something to be excited about. And it looks like fans aren't the only ones who are thrilled.

"We never could have imagined that we'd get a chance to come back," Alexis Bledel, who plays Rory Gilmore, said. "We couldn't have hoped for anything better," Lauren Graham, who plays Rory's mother, Lorelai, shared.

Fans will be delighted to know that Lorelai will still be with Luke once the revival airs, albeit they haven't gotten married yet. However, there may be hope for a wedding after all. Earlier this year, one eagle-eyed fan spotted a "wedding" hold sheet for "Gilmore Girls" while on a tour of the Warner Bros. prop storage. It remains unclear whether this wedding is for Luke and Lorelai, or perhaps for Rory and one of her three main love interests.

It can be recalled that Rory's love life mostly bounced among three men — Logan (Matt Czuchry), Dean (Jared Padalecki), and Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) — all of whom will be appearing in the revival. And while fans have surely taken sides over the years, it has been hinted that Rory may end up with Jess.

According to creator Amy Sherman-Palladino while speaking to Popsugar, her favorite among the three is Jess. And if the creator wants it, then there's a likely chance that Rory and Jess might be the endgame.

The "Gilmore Girls" revival, titled "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life," will consist of four parts named after each season, beginning with "Winter" and concluding with "Fall." All four parts will be released simultaneously on Nov. 25 on Netflix.
