'Married at First Sight' season 3 spoiler: least two couples have cold feat in teaser trailer

"Married at First Sight" is officially back for a third season and the six individuals have been paired. With last week's cliffhanger ending, what happens next to the third couple that met at the altar?

During the "Married at First Sight" season three premiere, the three couples paired by experts clinical psychologist Dr. Joseph Cilona, sexologist Dr. Logan Levkoff, sociologist Dr. Pepper Schwartz, and chaplain/spiritual adviser Greg Epstein met each other for the first time. While the first two couple that everybody met — laboratory compliance specialist Neil Bowlus and bank manager Samantha Role plus software account executive David Norton and nursing student Ashley Doherty — seem to be off to a good start, the third couple seem to have hit a snag.

Luxury car salesman Tres Russell and Vanessa Nelson were off to a good start, both complimenting how each other looked when they first met. But when they came down to the altar, the apprehensions surfaced. Before episode one ended, Vanessa pauses longer than needed before saying her vows and Tres says, "I'm sorry. I just need a minute." How does that pan out in episode two?

In a teaser posted by the show's official Facebook page, it seems the apprehension spreads to another couple, one bride saying, "." There was also at least one of the brides seen walking out of her wedding, her groom looking every bit confused as to what's happening.

But at least one wedding seems to have pushed through. The teaser shows one couple putting on a ring. Just which couple, it was not revealed as it was an extreme close-up of their hands.

"Married at First Sight" is an experimental reality TV show that marries three different couples on the same day that they meet. Couples are decided upon by the experts mentioned above.

Watch if all three couples push through with their weddings when "Married at First Sight" airs on FYI this Dec. 8, 9 p.m.
