(Apple)The current MacBook Pro in the market. The 2016 MacBook Pro is speculated to be unveiled in September.

MacBook users have been wondering as to when Apple will be refreshing their lineup of notebooks, especially with the MacBook Pro. It's been over a year since the company dished out the MacBook Pro 2015, but Apple fanatics haven't heard from the company now that 2016 is halfway through. There are speculations going on that the much-awaited notebook might be announced in September which is just the same timeline that Apple is rumored to unveil their latest flagship smartphone, the iPhone 7.

While faithful fans wait for an announcement or some bits of information regarding the rumored notebook, it is speculated that the next macBook Pro will be pre-installed with the recently announced macOS Sierra together with SIRI, which is a feature once exclusive to Apple iPhones. Furthermore, it is said that it will don an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) touchpad that has been a constant request of most Apple fans for the longest time. It's also rumored that the 2016 MacBook Pro will no longer have the connector for an audio jack, which is the same thing that Apple did to the yet-to-be-unveiled iPhone 7.

Meanwhile, reports are suggesting that the MacBooks sold in recent years have been on a decline and was eventually toppled by the Taiwanese tech vendor ASUS, which offers quality notebooks at a fraction of the price in comparison with Apple's steep-priced counterparts.

It was also previously reported that some Apple stores across the United States are now offering huge discounts on specific models of the MacBook. The smaller variant's price was slashed with $300 while the bigger version of last year's MacBook Pro has a $200 discount.

As mentioned earlier, Apple is most likely to reveal the next MacBook Pro this September, together with the company's next flagship smartphone which is the long-awaited iPhone 7.
