Atlus reveals more details about three new characters of 'Persona 5'

(YouTube/Atlustube)Atlus has just revealed details regarding the three new characters in the upcoming 'Persona 5.'

Atlus has just released a new trailer for "Persona 5" and it shows three new characters that the players can get to know once the game is released.

Gamers can recall that the Japanese version of the game is going to be released on Sept. 15, while North America and the rest of the world may wait until the upcoming E3 to know when the release date of their version will be. However, this doesn't stop the hype train because the latest trailer, which is almost five minutes long, features what looks like three new characters.

Thankfully, Gematsu has translated reports from Famitsu regarding information about these characters. The first of the three is Makoto Niijima who has the persona of a motorbike. She is the student body president and is currently in the third year. She is intelligent and doesn't like to compromise. Director Kastura Hashino has modeled this character based on Pope Joan who happens to be a female pope back in the middle ages. Some may speculate that this character will be a tank-based character that can withstand a lot of damage.

The second is Futaba Sakura, who has the persona of the necronomicon. She can be considered a geek since she is very well versed with programming. She also happens to be a freshman. Quiet and reserved, this character may be very mysterious, which is why Hashino gave her the persona of the necronomicon to symbolize this character as a whole. Gamers can likewise speculate that this character may be the support class in the game.

Finally, the third character is Haru Okumura, who is also a third year student with the persona of Milady. Hashino gave her this persona in relation to the three musketeers. She has good communication skills, which may come in handy throughout the game. Some may speculate at this point that she is the DPS of the party, making the three characters the pillars or the archetypes of an RPG composition.
