A renewal of their wedding vows will be a fitting ending to the time-tested relationship of Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) in the final season of "Bones."

As per CarterMatt, the long-running FOX series should have a finale that will remind viewers how the married couple weathered life's storms together for many years. Although there have been hurdles along the way, Booth and Brennan have proven that their love and respect for one another will always prevail. A scene where they renew their vows as husband and wife will nicely cap the series that has received much love for more than a decade. It will pay homage to the relationship that has been the backbone of the show since 2005.

On the other hand, there is also the possibility that the plotline will end strong, with a problem that will test their loyalty to each other. The season is expected to start with an explosive storyline involving Zack (Eric Millegan). He abducted Brennan last finale and spoilers claim that he is the serial killer "The Puppeteer." Zack is mentally unstable and very dangerous. With Booth already worried sick about his wife in this instance, could there be another storyline that will put Brennan in extreme danger once more?

Meanwhile, Brennan's ex-boyfriend Sully (Eddie McClintock) is coming back. Speculations report that he has returned to settle some unfinished business with her. Sully and Brennan parted ways a long time ago. He wanted him to run away with her, but she already knew before that she belonged to the Jeffersonian. They truly loved each other, but the timing was all wrong. Brennan met Sully way before she got involved with Booth. There is a strong possibility that Sully's return will cause friction between the married couple.

The final season of "Bones" will air in 2017 on FOX.
