Canon EOS M10 news: 18 MP camera is perfect for beginners with easy-to-use and selfie-friendly features

Canon has unveiled the EOS M10, its new mirrorless and compact digital camera. The EOS M10 is an entry-level camera and it appears to be a more basic version of the impressive EOS M3 camera. Though its features may be stripped down, it still carries powerful specs. The new camera is also perfect for beginners due to its easy to use and automatic features.
The Canon EOS M10 is an 18 MP mirrorless camera housed in a slim, lightweight and stylish body. The EOS M10 features Canon's new EF-M 15-45 mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM kit lens. The camera will also be compatible with EF and EF-S lenses, but will need a mount adapter.
It also comes with the APS-C CMOS sensor with 49-point Auto Focus and the DIGIC 6 image processor. These specs allow users to produce stunning, colorful and detailed photos and videos. The APS-C sensor features a wide ISO range from 100 up to 12,800. The ISO range can also be expanded to a maximum of 25,600. The Canon EOS M10 is capable of taking images even in low-light conditions. The built-in flash also provides additional light in these cases.
Canon's new camera is also capable of producing Full HD 1080p videos at 24p or 30p frame rates. It can also record in MP4 format to enable easy sharing online.
The Canon EOS M10 also features a 3.0-inch touch screen display that has 1.04 million pixels. The display allows users to preview their images in amazing and accurate detail. The touch screen display can pivot upwards, up to 180-degrees, which enables users to capture images in a wide array of angles, including selfie shots.
The camera has NFC and Wi-Fi capabilities that facilitate easy sharing of photos via its dedicated mobile app.
The Canon EOS M10 will be available in two colors - black or white. It will officially be released in November and will be priced at $600.
