'Clash of Clans' 2016 rumors: Update releases this month, to offer free gem mining

(Facebook/Clash of Clans)"Clash of Clans" is rumored to release its September update in the third week of the month.

With the undeniable popularity of "Pokemon GO," it is believed that the update the once-popular game "Clash of Clans" will roll out this month will renew the interest of the gamers in the game and lure new players to give it a try.

According to reports, it is likely for "Clash of Clans" to roll out an update this week, and the said update will bring about changes that will fall in the good graces of the gamers. Among the expected changes that the game will deliver is the ability of the gamers to mine gems without having to pay for them using actual money.

In the event that the update will really introduce this change, it is, without question, a welcome to the "Clash of Clans" gamers, and there is a possibility for those who have kept themselves busy with "Pokemon GO" to be lured back into playing the game.

While it's true that "Pokemon GO" comes with free Pokeballs and Pokecoins, many are forced to unload some amount of real cash in order to purchase them in the event that such are already consumed. Hence, in the event the "Clash of Clans" update this month will really enable players to mine gems for free, it is with great possibility that its lost players may be tempted into playing the game once more.

Apart from the free mining of gems, it is also suspected that one of the changes that the update will deliver, allegedly, this week, is a penalty system. However, as of this writing, it is still unclear as to what the rumored penalty will be and how it works.

On the whole, Supercell, the studio behind "Clash of Clans," is expected to deliver an update that will mostly benefit new players and those who are below Town Hall 11 (TH 11). However, things can only be confirmed if it will really be the case once the update arrives, allegedly, this week.
