After the mothers summed up the sixth season of "Dance Moms," the upcoming episode, titled "The Girls Say Goodbye," will be the kids' turn to speak.
On the next episode of the reality show, the dancers of Abby Lee Dance Company will be saying goodbye to the elite and original cast members Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler.
The promo trailer for "The Girls Say Goodbye" shows an emotional reunion of the dancers as they tear up over the exit of the Ziegler sisters.
"After we did our last competition together that's when it really hit us," Maddie said. Before they get emotional, Kalani Hilliker even quips that the sisters' exit can be their chance to be Abby's new favorites. Newcomer Brynn Rumfallo even sheds some tears, telling Mackenzie, "I don't know what I'm going to do without you."
It was in episode 15, titled "Melissa's Announcement," when the sisters confirmed that they would leave the dancing reality show together with their mother Melissa Gisoni. After the announcement, there were reports that Maddie has been tapped to do a new TV project with Abby. Plus, she is also rumored to star in several films soon. A lot of projects are coming Maddie's way, while she continues to grow her YouTube channel and music career.
According to reports, the finale episode will show a few cameos by the previous cast members including the Candy Apples Dance Center coach Cathy Nesbitt-Stein. Stein marked their departure from the show in season 5. Gino Cosculluela and Ava Cota will also be sharing their farewell messages for Maddie and McKenzie.
On a lighter note, fans of the show will finally see Jojo Siwa's anti-bullying music video "Boomerang." Todrick Hall, who appeared in episode 12, is expected to dance with the girls in the finale.
"Dance Moms" season 6 finale airs on Tuesday, May 17, at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
