'Dance Moms' season 7 news and spoilers: New dancers might be introduced next season; is Jojo leaving Abby?

(Facebook/DanceMomsonLIFETIME)Rumors have surfaced that Jojo Siwa will be leaving ALDC.

Filming has already started for "Dance Moms" season 7. While audiences can look forward to a season without the minis, they might also see another one of the show's stars leaving.

The second half of the season began with the ALDC back in competition. But fans were quick to notice that Jojo Siwa was still a no-show during the Sheer Talent competition in Las Vegas.

Rumors that Jojo is leaving Abby Lee Miller's dance studio have been churning since May, when she missed performing with her team during the Fierce National Dance Competition. However, the young dancer is rumored to be performing with the rest of the team as the sixth season wraps up.

Jojo and her mother, Jessalyn Siwa, have not addressed the rumors and the petite dancer has been giving conflicting impressions on social media. One YouTube video shows mother and daughter preparing to move to their LA apartment, indicating that she'll be staying in the area for a long time. Fans of the series know "Dance Moms" is filmed in the city. However, an Instagram post from several weeks ago had fans thinking that Jojo might be revealing a different project she's involved in.

Losing Jojo can be a major blow to both the show and the studio, as Abby has also dissolved the Mini team. However, two new faces were seen dancing with the junior team during their performance at San Diego's Fierce National Dance Competition — Camryn Bridges and Daviana Fletcher. But there's no official word on whether the two will be joining the series or if they're just guest stars. After all, Abby's recent search for talent has revealed other potential new dancers like Chloe Folce, Emma Hodges, Maesi Caes, and Taylor Tucker.

Abby admittedly has to discover new talent to join the junior elites, especially now that Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler have left her studio. Jojo's alleged departure might even herald the rumored end of the series.

There's no schedule yet for "Dance Moms" season 7, although Lifetime is currently airing the second half of season 6.
