(YouTube/Toei Animation)Episode 60 to show Zamasu's death?

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 59 has not even premiered yet, but fans are already turning their heads to episode 60. According to rumors, episode 60 will see the death of Zamasu.

The previous 58th episode saw Zamasu serving his mentor, Gowasu, some tea. The episode ended with a cliffhanger and left Gowasu's fate open. As previously reported, the teaser for episode 59 saw Gowasu dropping his cup of tea, which could mean that he has been poisoned by Zamasu.

The intentions of Zamasu are not yet clear, although there are those who think that it may have something to do with his plans. Since Gowasu is his mentor, he knows a lot about Zamasu — a lot of things that could potentially challenge his schemes.

Zamasu will make sure he prepares for the murder correctly, though. So he is going to be seen practicing in order to ensure that everything goes accordingly.

But it looks like the rumors can be put to rest as a synopsis for episode 60 confirms Gowasu's death. According to Attack of the Fanboy, the 60th episode will see Gowasu killed by Zamasu. It was not stated whether Gowasu was murdered through poison, though.

God of Destruction Beerus will find out what Zamasu has done to his former mentor. In retaliation, Beerus will kill Zamasu. However, Trunks is unsure about the certainty of Zamasu's death, so he travels to the future in order to confirm things. Zamasu's absence is crucial since the future's security relies on it.

Meanwhile, Goku and Vegeta will attempt to stop Zamasu from murdering Gowasu. However, they will not be able to do so.

The upcoming 59th episode, titled "Protect Kaioshin Gowasu, Destroy Zamasu," is expected to premiere on Sept. 25. The 60th episode, titled "To the Future Once Again/Goku Black's Identity Revealed," is expected to premiere on Oct. 2.

However, since these have not been confirmed, fans should take this news with a grain of salt for now.
