'Elder Scrolls 6' release date delayed due to unavailability of technology needed for it?

(Elder Scrolls Official)Fans can relish on the fact that the remastered version of "Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim" is in sight.

Despite the popularity of "Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim" and the excitement of the fans over its sequel, it seems that it may take a while before the much-awaited "Elder Scrolls 6" materializes and lands on the hands of those eager to sink their fingers on the game.

Many fans thought that "Elder Scrolls 6" would be announced at the already-concluded Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) held at the L.A. Convention Center last June, but the event came into conclusion without any mention of the game from the studio behind its creation, Bethesda.

While it's true that Bethesda is reputed for not having a long time of interval between a game and its sequel, it seems that "Elder Scrolls 6" is different from the other games that the studio has created. After all, "Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim" was released back in 2011, and its sequel is undeniably overdue.

It has been learned that Bethesda hasn't even started working on the game although the studio already has a clear picture of what they want to happen with the game. Reportedly, apart from the time that needs to be devoted in the development of the game, the technology needed for "Elder Scrolls 6" is not available yet, hence, the delay.

For whatever it's worth, "Elder Scrolls" fans can, at least, relish on the fact that a remastered "Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim" is coming out soon. According to reports, fans of the game can expect the said game to boast of improved graphics and effects, such as the volumetric god rays, dynamic depth of field, new snow shaders, new water shaders, and screen-space reflections.

The release date for "Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim" has been set on Oct. 28 and will be available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, and Bethesda is expected to release a tease of the remastered version once more before the game finally hits the store shelves on the said date.
