(Facebook/ElementaryCBS)Sherlock and Joan investigate a new case in the upcoming episode of "Elementary."

Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) and Joan (Lucy Liu) will have to dig deep into the past of a murder victim to track down her killer in the upcoming episode of the CBS series "Elementary."

In "Art Imitates Art," CarterMatt reports that the dynamic duo will come across a case involving the mysterious death of a woman. Apparently, the only clue to trace her murderer is an artwork left for the investigators to figure out. Upon further probing, Sherlock and Joan will find out that the piece is somehow connected to another crime that took place in the past.

Something happened when the woman was still in college that has a huge link to her death. The only link they can find is the artwork. To learn who killed the woman, they will have to take a trip to her past to learn of the possible connections that may have led to her fate. What kind of secret is the artwork hiding that is begging to be revealed?

The episode will be shown back to back with another one titled "All In." This time, Sherlock will be dealing with a woman who is claiming she has some sort of connection to his older brother Mycroft (Rhys Ifans). She will come barging into his office asking for help. According to her, she is being pursued by dangerous people who want to kill her. The woman confesses that she is an organizer of "illegal, high-stakes poker games."

What interests Sherlock is her alleged association with Mycroft. He and his brother have shared a tumultuous relationship since forever. Sherlock made the mistake of falling in love with Mycroft's fiancée. The older man then cut ties with him. Over the years, Mycroft has tried to reach out to Sherlock to make amends, but the consultant remains unyielding. Will the woman be the reason for the siblings to finally bury the hatchet?

"Elementary" season 4 episode 20 airs on Sunday, April 10 at 10 p.m. EDT on CBS. The "All In" episode starts things off at 9 p.m.
