'Frozen 2' release date, spoilers: New plot about siblings fighting over the crown?

(Facebook/DisneyFrozen)Theories continue to crop up about Anna and Elsa in "Frozen 2."

Fans of the hit Disney animated movie "Frozen" have been patiently waiting for any updates regarding the much-awaited sequel. So far, the producers have yet to announce anything juicy about its storyline.

In March, actress Kristen Bell, who voices Anna, confirmed that a second movie is in the works. She told Collider that it took a while for the creators of the film to conceptualize the sequel because they wanted to give the audience only the best. The actress said every aspect is being scrutinized to make sure that the plot is "important and engaging." That time, Bell said she has seen the storyline and that the recording would start soon.

"They've just written it and they're still doing tweaks, but I think we should be recording this month. The story is great, and they exude quality. What I know about that whole team is that they wouldn't just put something out to put it out. That's why it took them so long to even announce that we were doing a second one," the actress explained.

Meanwhile, there have been a lot of theories revolving around what will happen in "Frozen 2" and most of them revolve around darker themes. As per Game Guide, the two sisters, Anna and Elsa, will battle for the crown. Anna will allegedly succeed in becoming the queen by pushing her sibling off a cliff. Other ideas include Anna learning that that she is an illegitimate child and one that says that Elsa will be involved in a lesbian love affair.

Then there is the Tarzan theory. The jungle boy is said to be Anna and Elsa's long-lost brother. Arendelle's late King and Queen were said to have survived the shipwreck and lived in an island, where a baby born was conceived. When they died, their child survived and grew up in the company of wild animals. When he arrives in the kingdom, Tarzan will allegedly ascend to the throne.

There is no release date yet for "Frozen 2."
